  1. Contact the FCC and inform them. It sounds like you've been scammed.

  2. Sorry to say that most people feel that even a newsletter from a reputable company you shop at is a nuisance. I do . We do know the web address of the places we want to go. We also know what we want to buy and when we want to buy it. We feel that any promotional mail is tacky.

I am sorry if this might offend you. If so, try looking for a different field to work in.

  3. Although it may seem simple, a logo is very hard to design. When you create a logo, you must take an entire company and everything it stands for and refine it down to a simple, graphic representation. It's the ultimate design challenge.
I’ve also seen too many logos that haven’t been designed with much consideration as to what they might end up being used for. Your logo should be readable at many different scales- from the size of a nickel (or smaller) to billboard size.
I highly recommend against this and suggest you leave the design to a professional, much as you would leave your dental work to a dentist. I think it was the American steel company or IBM either way one of those companies was reported to have paid £3,000,000 for their logo which gives an indication of its value.

I recommend you a company corporatelogos who are very professional in this regard or if you want t design your logo for yourself you can check logosnap site.

  4. http://www.locodomains.com is great, domains for $8, hosting for $8

  5. Whats up Big Daddy,

I honestly have not participated in an Auction draft, but I've thought long and hard about it. To me (and to most of the people in my league) the most exciting part of the football season is the fantasy draft. The serpentine drafting format is the most exciting, IMO, because it allows each owner to control their own destiny.

Sure, in the auction draft you could get the player you want (if your price is high enough), but I like the idea of having an entire draft board to choose from and knowing that when my turn arrives I can have my pick of the litter. The idea that anyone can have any player is just too restricting to me and doesn't allow for as much strategy to come into play.

If the isn't enough, I can't imagine how long an auction draft would take. People in my league are completely loaded by the end of a serpentine draft and I can't imagine what a party would look like at the end of an auction draft; it must be exhausting.

As far as having keepers in an auction league, it seems logical that you would just remove the kept players out of the auction altogether and auction everyone else. You would have to subtract out the projected value of first round picks from each team's allotted credits to even things out.

I know you were looking for first-hand experience, but I thought I'd add my thoughts anyway.

    Good luck.

  6. You need to do some *offline* social networking (face-to-face) with for-profit businesses, local offices of corporations, local offices of international aid agencies, and other nonprofit organizations in your immediate area. You need to present them with the paperwork that shows your organization is a registered nonprofit organization with your government, data that shows this service you are providing is needed, what your program goals are for this year and how you will measure your success towards that goal, your latest budget, how you will account for donations given to your organization and what exactly your organization's expenses are, etc. You need to invite them to participate in your project so they can see first hand what it does. And through this networking, you will meet potential funders and receive references to foundations that are focused on education issues or your geographic area.

  7. According to the book “The ABC's of Writing Winning Business Plans: How to Prepare a Business Plan That Others Will Want to Read — and Invest In” http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0446694150/powerhomebizguid by Garrett Sutton, below are some tips to make a winning business plan that can get funding:

    - Money follows management. Investors look first at the people involved in the company. If you are just starting out and don’t have relevant experience, investors expect to see that you have an experienced team of advisors and employees helping you in the business. In many cases, it's who you know that counts a lot in getting funding from investors

    - Make sure you “sell” the one reason your business will become profitable.

    - State clearly the strategies you will employ to get the word out about your business. Your business plan must show how you will leverage the Internet, public relations, viral marketing, and other strategies to attract customers.

    - Present realistic estimates of the time, energy and costs of building a successful business. Do not underestimate or overestimate revenues. While investors know your numbers are simply guesses, they want to see that your numbers are within the “range of reality.” Be careful of your financial statements: this is one area where you can easily lose credibility if presented poorly.

    - Benchmark similar companies to show that you’ve done your homework and researched the market.

    - Your Executive Summary is your calling card. If it is not a winner, investors may not even read your entire plan. Emphasize your own as well as your team’s track record in the Executive Summary.

    - Before sending your business plan to lenders and investors, send it out first to a few in order to get feedback. You’d want to correct your plan if someone tells you that you’re way off mark, rather than have a potential investor tell it to you and lose the chance to get the funding you need.

  8. Didn't you expect this when they set up the campaign headquarters in Chicago?
That city has been the epicenter of dirty politics forever.
They've turned it into an artform.

Bill Clinton has been quoted as calling Obama a "Chicago thug."
His campaign has filed a complaint about a campaign ad with the Justice Department, asking for a criminal investigation of the director of the group that ran it. Campaign finance experts have said that they are attempting to intimidate opponents because there is no criminal case. A complaint should be properly filed with the FEC, FCC or IRS.
A group of Obama supporters also sent a letter to major donors to the McCain campaign warning them that if they contributed to any 527s, they would be "investigated" and "exposed," whatever that means.
    Chilling, huh?
Even if you have nothing to hide, who wants a private detective tailing you?

  9. G'day

There are only 41 universities in Australia, all of them are fully accredited and they are tightly controlled, therefore the quality and recognition of their graduates are equal from wherever university you are studying from. The most important thing is you have to READ the course information carefully, since some courses may have the same name but different content.

To find out the course that you are taking and where it is offered, I suggest you to go to IDP Education Australia website (www.idp.edu.au). IDP is an organisation that gives information to international students who wants to continue their study in Australia. Once decided on the uni, fill in the application form and send it together with certified copy of your academic qualification. The process will take abt 2-3weeks, depending on the time of the year.

Hope this helps. Good luck on your studies :)
